I think some of the other players have answered this the way I would. The idea is not that you can bring 25 prot warriors because they are all excellent players and expect to clear Naxx. I exaggerate, but you get the point. The idea is that you have enough coverage over "critical" areas with fewer players so that you have enough free spots to bring who you want. I put critical in quotes, because it varies depending on groups. Some players think Heroism is mandatory. It probably isn't for Naxx but it probably was for Sunwell. Some kind of poison dispel is probably mandatory for Naxx. Innervate isn't mandatory. Battle rez is useful while learning the encounters. And so on.

I'm going to make the assumption throughout

It is completely possible, albeit probably much more expensive, to RP an alchemist without the Herbalist skill, simply by purchasing herbs through barter with other characters or via the auction house. Therein lies the first tip: if at all possible, DO NOT buy herbs from the auction house, emergencies notwithstanding. It is my experience from currently playing two full-fledged alchemists on two different servers that the prices at which herbs are set are absolutely ludicrous. Do yourself a huge favor, make it an adventure to seek out the herbs needed, and save yourself that hard-earned gold.
When it comes time to gather up some herbs, I turn to my trusty notebooks, where I have written some prime locations around wow gold where I can find my favorite herbs. I also make use of what I like to call one of my 'memory mods', MapNotes. MapNotes allows me to make my own notes on the game map, an item I make ample use of. I can quickly open up an area of the game world in the map, and the notes I have made tell me what herbs I have picked in that area, and where. This is not often how the party views the situation, however. In small instance groups of five people, the druid is often taken only if they are willing to be a healer, despite their versatility. A druid desiring to fill another role, especially the popular role of damage dealing, is shunned. These spells have beneficial effects for the group, but a druid casting them on a target will often be ridiculed from the party for ‘wasting mana’ that should be reserved for healing.

In the past hardcore fans of Blizzard’s work know that this delay is for the best, the company labors to produce the finest quality product. The Druid went through months of internal testing and balancing before the concept became a reality. By giving the druid all the basic abilities of a rogue, a warrior, a mage and a priest, it is quite clear they had a greater intention for the class than staple healer.

It did get me thinking even more about the guild switch though. While people where asking about why the others left, my comment was “They wanted free epics. They didn’t want to work for them.” Was this fair? Was their change really any different than mine? I would like to believe they were vastly different, but maybe they aren’t. All of us left for gear upgrades and progression. Some of us though don’t mind working for the gear, while others want it handed to them on a silver platter.

The Messiah has had his say, what’s yours? Are there other valid reasons to switch guilds? How often do you change? Are guilds important to you at all? Am I over analyzing this? I want to hear your comments.

Work at it. If the guild is further it’s because they have more experience and time into the event. You will get there if everyone sticks with it and doesn’t bail. The other guild was at the same point you where at one point in time.

I switched my current main due to the Size / Progression issue. My main is a Paladin Tank that is fully geared with the best gear, enchants and gems that I can get outside of heroics and Karazhan. While I loved playing with the few people in the wow gold that were level 70, we never had enough on to do normal instance runs, never mind Heroics or Kara.

Most importantly, though, is being able to adapt your raid for progress. Planning and organizing consumables for the beginning of the week is a matter of preparation, not doctrine. The principle for progress here is that you are able to raid new content any time during the week as necessary; be prepared to have that incredible class makeup you need for Magtheridon or Mother immediately after an instance reset. Your goal is not rigid, but fluid -- if class balance is great on Tuesday then raid new content on Tuesday; if it is weak Wednesday, go to your old content; if it's good on Thursday, go back to new content and put the remainder of old content off until Monday. In other words, planning to raid early gives you and your raiders preparation to raid any time at all, since consumables, gear, strategies, and goals are in place at the instance reset.

This guild also completes old content much quicker, even though they have wow gold of it to do. The reason is loot progression -- even though they haven't been farming past gear, they are killing new bosses quick enough to receive items with much higher item levels and more potency. While the gear difference is not that dramatic, they are saturating their raid with every single encounter along the way, often seeing dozens of gear upgrades each week. Further, these items aren't rotting -- almost everything that drops is an upgrade.

There have been many horror stories lately, some true, some fiction about players of WOW. After playing the games online for a while, it is evident that some people will inevitably take the virtual world too seriously. It's a game, meant for fun. There are plenty of casual players, but some take things too personally or too seriously. That's when it begins to borderline on addiction, and becomes dangerous.

In an America where everyone is becoming more enlightened and in touch with themselves, there seem to be twelve step programs to help contain the addictions of every sort. Warriors are very dependant on the sort of gear they use. If the goal is to play the higher intensity raid instances, a lot of time will be spent gathering up the equipment. For a tank, there are three main things to look at while gathering gear: Stamina, Armor Rating, and Defense. Stamina gives the character ten hit points per point. That may not seem like a lot, but just like pennies in a piggy back, it starts adding up. Armor Rating lowers the incoming damage percentage. Defense ups the skill of the same name, and lowers the chance that enemies will critically hit the tank by a percentage point for every twenty five points of defense. Thankfully, wow gold offers many different dungeons to crawl in order to gather equipment with all of these perks. On epic pieces of armor, players will find bonuses to blocking skill or dodge percentages, and those are nice too, but those will only come after time spent tanking. Lastly, the Defiance talent raises the threat generated by the warrior by fifteen percent. Without all these talents, the warrior is not able to tank to the best of the class's ability.

The gear is in place, the talent build is good, but the most important thing to tank effectively is the skill. Its not hard to tank. It just takes knowledge. Sunder Armor is the staple of every tanks retinue. It is the most efficient way to gather rage early in a fight, and it makes the enemy easier to kill by lowering its armor rating. Another ability widely used is Heroic Strike. Some tanks use these two abilities and they manage to control the monster. In a prolonged fight, this will not be enough. There are three abilities other than sunder armor that allow the tank to gain as much agro as possible. Shield block, while not an threat generating ability in itself, it guarantees a block, which in turn allows the tank to use the Revenge ability. Revenge is the lowest cost and highest threat generating ability in the game. Finally, Shield wow gold a high threat producing ability used primarily to stop a spell caster from casting can be used liberally on non-magical foes to generate high amounts of threat. Each of these abilities should be used when they are cooled down and available. Once the basics of tanking are understood, each individual player can add their own flavor to the game and improve on their own abilities.

A large part of effective tanking is outside the hands of the warrior. One common fallacy held by the players of WOW is that if a tank loses control of a monster, he's a bad tank. While this very well could be true, the case could actually be quite the opposite. There is a limited number of things a Warrior can do to generate threat on a creature. Assuming that the skill, talents build are in place and the gear collected, he can build a lot of threat. There is an upper limit to the threat obtainable. When a character is assigned to tank, he will not be generating the majority of his threat from dealing damage to a target. Over a period of time, the threat from damage caused by another character can overcome the threat generated by the tank. Not only that, but they can also create portals to all of their factions major cities (aka. capitals). Since these abilities are specific to the Mage, combined with the fact that they are very useful abilities, makes these “”services”" high in demand. However, it is not certain that any Mage will be willing to give you food/water or make a portal. However, if you know how to ask, you might just find a Mage willing to help you! What follows is a short guide to (hopefully) getting some wow gold or a portal! Most of it is common sense and normal decency, but some people just seem to lack it.

The Golden Rule of Asking A Mage For Water, Food or a Portal To Your Favorite Town: BE NICE!!! This can not be emphasised enough! It’s common decency, and applies to everyone in WoW and in real life! Wrath of Ragnaros

The Ragnaros encounter has two stages that will repeat. The first stage is an all out brawl where Ragnaros will take as much damage as you can dish out. In this stage Ragnaros has a couple of attacks in his retinue. The Wrath of Ragnaros is signaled by speech and text saying, “Taste the Flames of Sulfuron.” This attack knocks back all players within melee range, potentially throwing them into the lava and out of the fight. All melee except the main tank back out before wrath occurs. Ragnaros will use wrath every 25 seconds. It can be resisted, so having the main tank in fire resistance gear is mandatory, and melee damage suggested. If the main tank resists wrath, the melee fighters can run right back in and join the fight. If the main tank is thrown, the off tank runs in and picks up Ragnaros, and the melee group gives him a few seconds to gather more threat. Ragnaros also throws a fire ball at ranged fighters, damaging then, and knocking everyone around them into the air. This attack does not affect the person it is casted on, but those around him, thus why the ranged units must be properly spread out. This first stage lasts for 3 minutes. If the group hopes to take down this powerhouse of wow gold he needs to be at or below 40% life at the end of 3 minutes.

Stage 2 is known as the Sons of Flame. When Ragnaros retreats, he spawns 8 small fire elementals to attack the raid party. They don’t do much damage to melee fighters, but they do have a nasty aura effect seen elsewhere in wow gold that steals magic users mana, and damages them for it. Each warrior in the group, ideally four to five, should try to grab and hold two Sons. Healers need to keep the warriors alive, so they can hold them while the rest of the group takes out the Sons one by one. There are rock outcroppings sporadically placed along the edge of a spiraling land mass surrounded by lava. As the spiral pulls towards the center, where Ragnaros will eventually be, it becomes very thin. The main tank and off tank both stand fairly close to each other at the tip of the spiral. The melee group positions itself further back on the spiral, near the last outcropping before the spiral begins to tighten. The ranged damage players spread out over the rest of the board, within range of the soon-to be target. The healers assigned to each group get close enough to heal their players. All players prepare for one of the most awe inspiring moments in WOW.

orld of Warcraft Collectible Action Figures - Get Ready for your Gamer's Christmas Shopping List

Just when you thought you had gotten the most out of your World of Warcraft experience, you realized that there was still more for you to

enjoy. World of Warcraft may haves set new limits on PC entertainment and collectible trading card games, but the fun doesn’t end there.

Fans will be proud to know that DC Comics takes the hit gaming title to a whole new level with its new line of wow gold collectible

action figures.

With a release scheduled for this upcoming fall, these action figures will no doubt make fine additions to any World of Warcraft fanatic’s

library, so if you’re shopping for a gamer’s Christmas present, they just might top your list. A total of six models will be released in

the first series, and once they hit shelves there is no question that gamers will be longing to pick up one of these collectible figures.

However, it may be difficult in obtaining one of these collector’s items due to the fact that they will only be carried by a select number

of retailers.

World of Warcraft has been at the top of PC gaming sales since wow gold release in November of 2004. The production of the action figures was

undertaken to give fans an opportunity to make a hobby out of a virtual pastime. The first release of figures will include a Blood Elf Rogue,

an Orc Shaman, an Undead Warlock, and a Dwarf Warrior. The figures will be range between 5-8 inches in size and will be sold through select

toy retailers. In addition, a second release is expected that will include two more of the larger figures, a Draenei Paladin and Illidan

Stormrage.

DC Unlimited, a branch of DC Comics, is projected to release the first series of wow gold figures in November 2007, just in time for Christmas.

While it is not set in stone as to how much the figures will cost when they hit the market, various sites across the web have them available

for pre-order at a price of roughly $30 for the first set of four WoW collectible action figures.

A huge amount of responsibility is put on priests as they are mainly a healing class. They are usually in high attendance in raids. The downside to priests is that you''ll rarely ever be needed for damage, and so your role during your playing career will be varying between the same three healing spells.

The Mage

Mages are a high damage class that rely on magic spells to defeat their enemy. Compared to other classes, mages have relatively low HP (hit points) and are highly vulnerable thanks to their easily penetrable cloth armor.

The Druid

World of Warcraft Druids, are characters with a huge range of special skills. Not only can he behave in the same way as Priests, Rogues and

Warriors, but he can also transfom into an animal. Only Night Elves and Taurens can become Druids, and it is really just a matter of personal

choice, which class you choose.

However, whichever you choose, you will be asked to perform some quests which are peculiar to Druids. Although these are optional, they will give you some special skills, that you will probably need wow gold in the future.

The first of these, will be at level ten, where you will be instructed by a Druid Trainer, to see a special Druid Trainer in a major city. Night Elf Druids will go to Darnassus and speak to Mathrengyl Bearwalker, and Tauren Druids to Thunder Bluff to speak with Turak Runetotem. Should you not be able to find either of them , ask one of the wandering city guards, where to find a Druid Trainer, and you''ll be informed

where to go.From here, you will be sent to Moonglade, to speak with Dendrite Starblaze in the town of Nighthaven. before you leave, you will be given a "Teleport to Moonglade" spell, by your Druid Trainer. This will always teleport you to Moonglade, whenever you want.Moonglade is contested, so be prepared if you are playing PvP, you may possibly be killed outright. After you have spoken with Dentrite Starblaze, you will be sent to talk to the Great Spirit Bear, in the mountains north west of Nighthaven. He is not there to fight with, just to talk to. he will just give you some information. When you have read this, you will be sent back to Dentrite Starblaze for the next part of your quest.This next phase, differs slightly for each of the races, however both have the same final outcome. Night Elves will be given special dust, to

take to Auberdine,where you will place this dust on a special stone,in a cave. Naturally, the entrance to this is protected, so you may have to fight your way in. You will then be expected to defeat a level twelve monster called Lunaclaw; you may wish to have gained a level or two

before you do this, or team up with someone else, to help you. After his defeat, the spirit of Lunaclaw will tell you something, which you will read and then you will return to Dentrite Starblaze in Nighthaven again.Here, you will be congratulated and send you back to Darnassus, where you will again speak to Mathrengyl Bearwalker in the Cenarion Enclave.

You will then be given the Bear transformation skill as a Night Elf Druid.If you are a Tauren Druid, you won''t need to go to Auberdine to kill Lunaclaw, Dentrite will send you instead to the edge, between the

Barrens and Mulgoreto look for a special stone. On wow gold you will sprinkle the special dust which Dentrite will give you, to summon Lunaclaw. He will appear behind you, remember he is a level twelve monster, so follow the advice given earlier here. Once you''ve defeated Lunaclaw, its

Expansion rumours have been circulating for a few days prior to BlizzCon Starting. Based on the inflow of cash Blizzard is receiving one of two things should happen. The first is that more development should take place or the other option is that monthly fees should drop. Blizzard in all likely hood expected roughly 1 or 2 million players, meaning $15 to $30 million a month. They are generating 3x the high end of that. Come on guys, it’s a success and a cash cow, either cut us a break (say $10 a month instead of $15) or triple the amount of content that is released. Like I said, Blizzard has been doing a good job on new content, just not $90 million dollars good.

Lastly for all the games that do not have a monthly fee, do you find yourself less forgiving of other fee-based MMOs? Does the lack of a fee make players less intense about playing regularly? Beyond that it is very company dependant. What should come from monthly fees are mini free expansions, in game events, and other new content. For the games that do provide new and updated content on a regular basis it makes a huge difference to the player base. They “feel” that their money is going someplace and doing them some good. The games that provide this generally have far fewer trolls complaining about fees on their forums. Of course not everyone can be happy, and part of that has to do with our next topic.

Are the games pricing models a good fit for the player base. This can mean two things very easily. How does the price fit to the target demographic and how does it fit to the number of players. The first for wow gold is probably bang on, $15 is a fair fee for a normal players game. They are not aiming for an older crowd, but a normal gaming crowd. This means $15 (an industry standard) is average and should fit. The most negative patch I can think of was the patch where they disabled U.I. mods from cancelling spells. This change made raiding slightly more difficult since you had to manually conserve mana while healing (instead of a U.I. stoping you when you were going to heal someone for too much). This of course, came when Priests became much better healers, so it wasn’t too bad.

One must ask though, what does the future look like for wow gold. The next upcoming game update will provide a Rogue talent overview along with more incentive to PvP outside of the battlegrounds. Past that, no one really knows. We do know that World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is coming soon. That should mean that upcoming patches will probably begin preparing players for it while adapting the game world for when it’s launched.

Overall, every WoW update has been overly positive bringing both new content along with various game fixes and balance changes. Updates which contain new dungeons or content are always excellent updates providing players with plenty of new and exciting things to do. In most MMO’s if you want to play, you have to pay. It’s just a part of the game. There are the exceptions out there like Guild Wars and a few others, but the standard MMO has a monthly fee. In this editorial I look at the following questions and answer them from my point of view.

With an MMO you are almost forced to play more so that you feel you are getting your moneys worth out of your monthly fee.

There really is no “biggest” patch

As you can see, most patches provide a wealth of new content and things to do. This brief summary doesn’t include the thousands of smaller changes that fix annoying bugs or add small features. Those kind of things aren’t not looked at as much as major milestones in the history of WoW. Though, all of the patches do carry the theme of being focused towards those at level sixty. That’s because there is plenty of pre-level sixty content but there never can be enough level sixty (or the upcoming level seventy) content.

There really is no “biggest” patch, although one does stand out in wow gold’s history more then the others. That’s patch 1.4 which added PvP honor and patch 1.5 which added the battlegrounds. During patch 1.4, the already congested zones of Stranglethorn Vale and Hillsbrad Foothills were full of PvP combat. This provided a ton of untapped entertainment for anyone who was level sixty and looking for something to do. On the flip side, this created a large hassle for those leveling up in these zones on the PvP servers. Patch 1.5 came with the battlegrounds, which ended a lot of the players in these zones, once again allowing those on PvP servers to have a more leveled playing field. Normal servers rejoiced as PvP finally was catching on with the arrival of the battlegrounds.

Outside of the highly anticipated excitement of the battlegrounds and PvP honor were the various instances that were added. Blackwing Lair, AQ, and Naxxaramas are all big deals among those who enjoy raiding. Players scrambled before the patches to ready themselves to become the first to complete content in these instances. Not only that, but each added instance (including Dire Maul and ZG) provided a wealth of new items and skills that greatly helped those who enjoy making their characters more and more powerful.

Those who are more casual really enjoyed patch 1.10 which added the .5 armor set. This armor set was designed for those who only want to play for a few hours every other day. Attainable by most anyone, these armor sets also greatly helped guilds who were attempting to complete the first major raid instance, Molten Core.

Not every major update focused on content. A lot of wow gold later patches have focused on reviewing various classes talents and making them more efficient for the current game landscape. Most of these changes are welcomed by the community, although some changes have come as controversial. Enemies of those classes cheer as a very annoying skill or talent has been balanced while those of the class disagree saying the skill or talent are needed. Overall, most of the balance changes were truly needed (and to the contrary contained very few “nerfs”).

One can never truly speak purely of the positive in game updates. Though, there comes a problem that there just really has never been anything overly negative then the problems during launch. At launch, the game was unavailable for extended periods of time do the sheer amount of unexpected players. Past that, there has never been a major incident that has “ruined” gameplay for anyone or made classes unviable or any of the other horrible things that have befallen other MMORPGs.

The history of WoW updates is quite simple, if you take out the massive amounts of small feature changes.

Patch 1.1 (Launch): The first official game update added racial traits along with a large amount of class skill changes. This was included on the first official wow gold    ans was the transition patch from beta to live.

Patch 1.2 (December 18th, 2004): Added in the Maraudon instance along with the first major event, the Feast of the Great-Winter. Many of the bugs and problems that existed at launch were cleared up in this patch.

Patch 1.7 (September 13th, 2005): The 20-man instance of Zul’Gurub was added along with a new battleground called Arathi Basin.

Patch 1.8 (October 10th, 2005): Silithus was populated and a Druid talent review.

Patch 1.9 (Janurary 3rd, 2006): The Ruins of Anh’Quiraj (20-man) and The Temple of Anh’Quiraj (40-man) instances were added. Players referred to these dungeons as AQ. Paladin talent review.

Patch 1.10 (March 28th, 2006): Priest talent review along with a new pre-Molten Core armor set added based off of the “big 3” instances.

Patch 1.11 (June 20th, 2006): Naxxaramas was added along with Mage and Shaman talent reviews.

These were introduced only in later patches, but again are very useful for the less experienced player. They contain a number of useful tips and keystroke commands that aren’t taught in the pop-up basics. Again, rather than learning these by eating up valuable game time poring over manuals or other websites etc. players can actually spend more time just playing, and learning the things that can’t be taught in this way like good tactics and strategies.

This refers to quest text being set out in such a way as to provide some hints, and also the way that quests will lead you into other zones you haven’t explored yet. It’s nice to get some signposts pointing you in the right direction, or guiding you to new places, and I think the way the quest text is written helps do this wow gold very well.

I see these as being the three main ways in which Blizzard does a good job in familiarizing the new player with the game, and guiding them along the road towards the end-game.

Sure, there are some things that could always be improved, and there are some things that are left out. But I don’t necessarily think this is a bad thing… after all most people don’t want to be spoonfed 100% of the time and still like some challenge… I know I do!

Now, my colleague Messiah has raised an interesting counterpoint or two in his blog! You may want to check out his side of the story. But I still think that the quest text helps even with this too, as apart from elite quests, there are a number of other quests where the text specifically suggests you’ll want some allies along, which encourages you to group when you need wow gold.

I do agree, perhaps there could be a bit more outlined about meeting stones, grouping and using the Trade/LFG channels in the loading screen hints. But overall, I think Blizzard does a very good job of schooling its new players, and makes learning the game non-threatening and more enjoyable! This has really been one of secrets behind the World of Warcraft phenomenon!

OK, so you’ve never played a MMORPG before, you’ve just unwrapped your wow goldbox, installed the game, set up your account… and now you’ve just created your first Level 1 character and you’re standing in your starting camp… where to now?

There are many reasons why World of Warcraft has been such a massive success, and I believe that one of them is that Blizzard have made the game easy to understand and learn! Unlike previous MMOs, which had quite a steep learning curve and often put new players off by making simple things difficult to learn, wow gold is frequently pointing new players in the right direction, though the use of a few very effective devices!

By making it easy to pick up the basics of the game, and not forcing players to learn the basic aspects of the game by trial and error, Blizzard have really ensured that the early levels of the game really are an enjoyable experience to play! In my opinion, this decision has allowed WoW to be more accessible to your first-time MMO player, or more casual player. This in turn has meant that WoW has been able to capture a whole new section of the market which previous MMOs largely ignored, hence why it has shattered all previous subscription records!

So let’s take a look at World of Warcraft’s basic training program, and how it works…

1. Pop-up boxes

Right from the start, the game is offering you useful advice in the wow gold boxes. For example, telling you how to find quest givers, loot corpses and engage enemies. As new experiences come up in the game, there continue to be pop-up boxes giving you instructions. Even in the later stages of the game, pop-up confirmation text (eg. when you will change an enchant/item improvement) reminds even the more experienced players of something they may have overlooked.

Earlier in the week, we were invited to attend a Wrath of the Lich King presentation at Blizzard's offices in Irvine, California. Once there, we were shown an hour-long presentation on the expansion and its progress so far. The presentation also included a demonstration of a Death Knight in action, and we got to see the inside of many new instances.

Speaking at the presentation were Jeff Kaplan, who showed us through the new content on Northrend, and Tom Chilton, who showed us the Death Knight. Both of these guys are lead designers of wow gold .
Chilton explained that the DK will be given a series of quests that teach the player how to play the character, why the character became a DK and how it came to escape Arthas' grasp and gain free will. These quests will also provide the character with better, Death Knight specific, gear. We were then shown a demonstration of the Death Knight in action.
Kaplan kicked off the show with an overview of Azeroth, and Northrend's position on it. Northrend is bigger than Outland by a couple of zones, and a some of the zones themselves will be larger than Outland's largest zones.

Players will have a choice of starting area, regardless of faction. You can choose to start over on the East side of Northrend in the zone called Howling Fjord [0:01], which is the zone Blizzard featured at wow gold back in August last year, or you can enter Northrend on the west side in the zone called Borean Tundra [2:10]. Both of these zones are the exact same level range, they both have dungeons which players can go straight into from Outland if you wish, and they are both equally accessible for players of either faction. For example, if you play a Horde character, and you wanted to go to Howling Fjord, you would get there via the Undercity, and if you wanted to go to Borean Tundra, you would leave from Orgrimmar. It is also very easy to switch between zones if you change your mind once you get there.

Death Knight Report

During the hour-long presentation by Blizzard, Tom Chilton showed us a Death Knight in action for the very first time. We saw on the character selection screen as the PC operator scrolled through a few random races, that Taurens, Orcs and Dwarves were available as Death Knights. I later saw a Gnome Death Knight on another machine, which backs up the statement Blizzard have made in the past that all races will likely have access to being a Death Knight.

Right at the start of Chilton's presentation, he confirmed that the only thing players will need to be eligible for a Death Knight on their account, is a level 55+ character. Players will be limited to one Death Knight per realm. Death wow gold will start at level 55, they will have a regular land mount called a Death Charger, which will be upgraded to an epic mount through a quest chain quite soon afterwards, and we found out later in interviews with Chilton, Kaplan and Brack that the Death Knights will start off in a floating necropolis in the Eastern Plaguelands, much like Naxxramas in its current location. They will then go on to level in a dedicated area East of Tyr's Hand and the Noxious Glade, where they will learn more about the background of Death Knights.

Chilton explained that the wow gold will be given a series of quests that teach the player how to play the character, why the character became a DK and how it came to escape Arthas' grasp and gain free will. These quests will also provide the character with better, Death Knight specific, gear. We were then shown a demonstration of the Death Knight in action.

Death Knights have a unique resource system. They have runes inscribed on their weapons, which are used up as players use spells. This particular DK had 2 Blood runes, 2 Unholy Runes and 2 Frost Runes. The runes are used up in combat, but they regain power over the space of a few seconds. Which runes are used, and how many get used up depends on the spell, some spells only require one frost Rune, others may need 2 Blood runes.

In addition to the rune system, DKs have a secondary resource, which is similar to the Rogues' system of combo points. Every time the DK uses a rune in combat, Runic Power is generated. After a while, enough Runic Power builds up to allow the DK to use an ability that requires that resource. Whenever a DK uses one of these special abilities, however, all Runic Power that has been stored is used up, but the more Runic Power there is, the more powerful the spell will be. Therefore, playing a DK will rely on making the most of the Runes, Runic Power and their cooldown times.

Death Knight

When a DK is created, they will begin with more spell mechanics and abilities than a regular level 1 character starts with. This is justified by the fact that the player has to have had a level 55+ character to be able to create the DK anyway.

In addition to the runes, we learned a few of the Death Knight spells and abilities. These were all we learned:

Death Coil - Unleashed all runic power you have, causing up to 600 Shadow Damage (at level 55) to a non-undead enemy, or healing up to 900 damage to a friendly undead target.

Chains of Ice - Immobilizes the enemy, then slows them, periodically returning some speed until the affected target is returned to normal.

Death Pact - Instantly kills a raised ghoul to heal the wow goldKnight.

Mind Freeze - Interrupts spell casting

Blade Strike - Applies disease to the target in addition to doing damage.

Blood Strike - Does an amount of damage based on how many diseases are on the target.

Grip of Death - Pulls the target towards you and forces them to attack you.

Strangulate - Silencing the target for up to 5 seconds, uses all Runic Power.

Death and Decay - Targeted AoE spell that does damage over time to an enemy unit within the affected area. Also has a chance to cause the enemy to run in fear.

Anti-magic Shield - Absorbs 75% of next spell cast against the Death Knight and converts it to Runic Power.

Raise Dead - Raise a wow gold to fight for you for a limited time. This creature can perform a number of attacks including Fear, apply disease, stun, cause a target bleed and pummel. If cast on a fallen friendly player, the player is given an option to play as the ghoul for the length of the ghoul's life. (Presentation said the Ghoul was castable in the Arena).

Blood Presence - DPS. Increases DPS and heals the DK slightly when attacked.

Frost Presence - Tanking. Increases armor and threat.

Unholy Presence - PvP. Damage dealing. Increases attack speed, and increases the speed of your global cooldown.

During his explanation of the DK

Kaplan showed us a town called Vengeance Landing [0:08] in Howling Fjord, which is unique, because it is the first town that is purely Forsaken architecture. All Forsaken buildings up to this point have been converted from Scourge or Human styles. This town is advancing the Forsaken's storyline, as they have a vested interest in going up against Arthas to maintain their free will.

We took a trip up the mountain to another area in Howling Fjord, as wow gold explained that as cool as it would have been to simply make a whole continent out of snow and ice, it wouldn't have been very rewarding for the players, so they have mixed it up and provided lots of different environments for players to explore.
During his explanation of the DK abilities, Chilton said that Blizzard were aware of the fact that many players who tank like to feel they are still dealing some decent damage. In the past, Blizzard has balanced the game so that tanks don't cause much damage compared to the high DPS classes, but he said that Blizzard has realized that players need to feel their damage is a somewhat meaningful contribution, and they want players to feel they are actually dealing some decent damage whilst tanking in future.

If you don't have time to read through all our other articles detailing everything we learned at Blizzard's presentation earlier this week, or to watch the interviews with the game developers, I've compiled a list of facts that I've picked out from all the info. Here they are in no particular order:
All 25 man raids in Wrath will also be available to complete with 10 players. This is so that more players will get to see end game content (Even the Arthas encounter will be available as a 10 man raid).

There will be completely different loot tables for the two different raid types. They will also be on separate cool downs, so players could fight in both the 10 man and 25 man raid on the same day if they wish.

The mounts available to buy in Wrath will probably be able to take passengers. These mounts will also work in the old world (Provided they are land mounts), so players can give low-level characters a ride! The new mounts will also be slightly faster, around the speed of the wow gold Netherdrakes.

All 5-man instances in Northrend will feature Heroic modes, and the loot tables for the 2 modes will be totally separate. Heroic dungeons will have their own "Tier" of armor completely unique to that level dungeon.

Death Knights will be available to players who have a character that is level 55+. There is no other requirement at this time.

Players are allowed 1 wow gold per realm that they play on.

Death Knights will be "born" in a floating Necropolis over the Eastern Plaguelands, similar to Naxxramas.

Death Knights will start at level 55.

A Death Knight's starting armor will be a mixture of green and blue quality items. The first few quests that they encounter will provide upgrades to these starting items, and these upgrades will be armor specific to Death Knights.

Death Knights can dual wield.

One Death Knight spell is Raise Dead, which converts a fallen unit into a ghoul for a time to serve the Death Knight, similar to a Hunter's pet. If the spell is used on a fallen friendly player, the player will be presented with an option box similar to a resurrection message, and if they accept, they will take control of the ghoul and will be able to use its abilities for the period of time that it is active. This can work as a sort-of battle res, and Chilton stated it may be available in Arenas.

Northrend is Huge. It is larger than Outland by a couple of zones, and some of the zones in Northrend are bigger than the largest zone in Outland.

Lots of UI improvement planned

Here are all the other facts we learned from Blizzard, and from playing the game:

Players will be able to change their hairstyles as often as they want, the cost of doing so will scale with their level.

PvE ladders on the official armory are possible in the future

There will be no event to open the route to wow gold like AQ; the day of the expansion release, players can go straight into Northrend. However, a month or 2 in advance there will possibly be a large patch, similar to pre TBC. Players will get hints of why they will have to go to Northrend in this peroid, and this patch will possibly feature new talent trees and class changes.

There will be a lot of new exciting things for all classes on the way to level 80 in terms of talents and abilites, and player will likely find there is a different balance between the classes at level 80.

It is likely some new spells and abilities for the classes will be shown at the WWI next month

There may be an instance inside Dalaran, the new central hub city in Northrend.

Better graphics are a possibility for the future, but it's not something that Blizz are working on right now.

Blizzard are planning to bring out cool new items for players to spend all their money on, BEFORE Wrath comes out.

Lots of UI improvement planned, Blizzard will be integrating some popular addons to the standard UI.

DKs will be effective when they are created, and will upgrade their gear through quests very quickly

The Death Knight's runic power, which builds up as they use their runes in spells and abilities, decays over time, like Rage for a wow goldor Bear Druid.

With the new profession in Wrath, Inscription, there will be some inscriptions that only characters with that profession can utilise.

Trainers and Auction houses will remain in the "Old World"

Dalaran wil be in Nothern/Central Northrend, near the final zones

There will be something cool in Alterac where Dalaran used to be (where it is currently in WoW now)

There May be a portal in Shatrath to Northrend

There will be a new Badge of Justice system, with new "Badges"

Blacksmithing may be able to put Gem slots on items that didn't have them before

All professions will give players something powerful specific to them, similar to the Epic weapons that weaponsmiths can make just for themselves

Lake Wintergrasp will have daily quests, and there will probably be a buff that effects the entire continent, as well as rewards from all dungeons similar to the Spirit Shards players can currently get from the Auchindoun instances when their faction controls the area.

If you have very good equippment (Sunwell gear or Season 4), you probably won't need to replace it until "very deep" into Wrath.

New zone, Sholazar Basin, features 2 opposing factions that players can ally with or go to war against, but it will be much easier to swap allegeance at any point, and indeed it is intended that players complete the quests with one faction, then go and complete the quests for the other.

Naxxramas will feature the same bosses and same layout as before

Blizzard are still tyring to decide what to do about the legendary Staff "Atiesh", they might still do something with it.

The Ashbringer lore will feature heavily in Wrath

There will probably be two new Arenas in Wrath, one set in Dalaran, one in Orgrimmar Arena

Some spells in Wrath will knock back enemies, some will pull them towards you

Blizzard want tanks to feel like the damage they are doing is worthwhile

Gaming addiction is something we gamers hear about every day. Most of us are aware of the problem, but we're also aware that is doesn't happen to the majority of us, not to the degree where our lives start to degrade as a result.
However, the problem is becoming more common as computer game popularity grows. In today's current climate, where parents or carers are perhaps more reluctant to let their children out to play on the streets where anything could happen to them, having them stay in to play their consoles or PC games might seem the safer option. So what are they to do when the gaming becomes the center of their child's world?
